EDWIN at Fat Buddha

In store and online at Fat Buddha we have EDWIN.  EDWIN is a Japanese brand known primarily for its denims. established 1947 by founder Mr Tsunemi who was tired of Japans inferior quality denim to its American counterpart.

This strong passion for denim drove Mr Tsunemi to create his own denims with better fits, washes and all round higher quality.  This mentality for quality, craftmanship and innovation have been carried to become an ethos for the EDWIN brand.

From then on they went from strength to strenght creating the first 'old wash' denim, inventing stonewash and influencing every denim company in existence today.
