Hottie of the Week - Heidi Klum!

Heidi Klum has been heating things up this week with her new advert for american fast food company Carls Jr. Former supermodel Heidi Klum rose to fame by appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated and then going on to become a Victorias Secret model. She was also the host and judge of reality show Project Runway and has also appeared in a number of films in supporting roles. Its clear to see, even at the age of 39, she's still got it!

Carhartt Driver Cap

Carhartt pull a swift move with the brands new Driver Cap, which has just arrived at Fat Buddha Store. The hat comes in a traditional style flat cap design, but keeps Carhartt's tough durable fabrics making this an ideal piece of headwear. The hat comes in Three colours Black, Carhartt Brown and Camo shown above. You can check out some pics below. Going Out - Electric Frog - Easter Weekend

Glasgow's favourite boutique festival Electric Frog returns to SWG3 with it's now notorious Easter Weekender and it's shaping up to be outstanding, and an event not to be missed. Saturday 30th March they have a monster line up as Simian Mobile Disco headline - be warned that this is a full on party set as we discovered when checking it out last year, this is 3 hours of hedonism! Next up, Andrew Weatherall and Ewan Pearson will perform a unique back to back set covering the electronic music spectrum and beyond. Glasgow label High Sheen host the 2nd room on Saturday and have pulled together a line up of international talent that Glasgow loves alongside Glasgow talent that are ready to take on the world. Todd Edwards, Daft Punk collaborator and US house & garage impresario headlines along with Brainfeeder head honcho Martyn . Lovers' Rights are Dam Mantle & Silk Cut who play live and label mates HARA, Ben Martin and Sam Vitamins round off the bill.

Undefeated - Spring/Summer 2013

Nice to see a new drop of Undefeated clothing arrive in store at Fat Buddha , always a favourite of the staff's and the shoppers alike. Founded as a trainer brand in 2002 by Eddie Cruz and James Bond (not Sean Connery in case you were thinking it!) who aimed to provide something different from the main stream with high end premium trainers.  They grew so much in popularity that soon enough they were creating their own apparel with the same high end fashion ethos. They now have stores in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Tokyo as well as being stocked in a top quality store like ourselves. You can check out some images from the new collection below. Impossible Project

We have just taken a re-stock of some Polaroid film and some new cameras from Impossible Project here at Fat Buddha Store . Impossible Project are a company that manufactures instant photographic materials and Polaroid film being the main drive behind the company. The Impossible Project was started in 2008 after Polaroid announced in February 2008 that it would stop producing instant film for Polaroid cameras. The founders are Dr. Florian Kaps, André Bosman and Marwan Saba. In June 2008, Kaps and Bosman met at the Polaroid factory’s closing event and decided to found a company to produce materials for Polaroid cameras. In October 2008, Impossible bought the production machinery from Polaroid and leased a building, called Building Noord, which was formerly part of the Polaroid plant in Enschede in the Netherlands. A couple of new Asics Gel Saga shoes have arrived in store, boasting great new colour ways for Spring/Summer 2013. In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano", which when translated expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Taking the acronym of this phrase, ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness. These Gel Saga are presented in a premium nylon mesh and suede upper in grey and black with orange details and navy and navy with green details. Music Monday - DJ Premier

If you don't know the name DJ Premier, then there may be something wrong with you! To celebrate Premier's 47th birthday which passed last week, this Music Monday is dedicated to looking back on the career of one of hip hops greatest producers. DJ Premier basically crafted the sound of 90's east coast hip hop singlehandedly with his 'boom-bap' style production perfectly suited to the hard, gritty lyricists populating New York at the time. In 1989, a Boston MC by the name of Guru reached out to Houston native DJ Premier, then known as Waxmaster C, after splitting with his DJ. Preemo sent him a beat tape which Guru loved and Gangstarr, as we all know and love them, was born. This weeks hottie is MTV News presenter Becca Dudley! The 23 year old from Essex has been brightening up the news on our telly screens for a little while now and not only is she incredibly fit, she also knows her streetwear too. She's interviewed some of the biggest names in showbiz including the likes of Rita Ora and even living legend Lee Scratch Perry. She can regularly be seen in garms from Carhartt, Diamond, Indcsn and a host of other streetwear brands and when not presenting on MTV, you can find her styling for brands like Dr Martens and To-orist and singer Ellie Goulding.    

Palladium Boots

Some new Palladium boots have just arrived in store at Fat Buddha Store, and make a great addition to our already popular collection. The classic French brand were founded in 1920 as a company that started out creating specialist tires for aircraft's. Their advanced tires, that were made by layering canvas bands underneath vulcanised rubber soon ended up on the majority of Europe's aircraft's. In 1947 Palladium put this same idea and expertise that was used in their tires to footwear and the result was the Pampa Boot. A boot that was renowned for its comfort, functionality and durability, so much so that it was adopted by the French Foreign legion. Moving onto 2013 and the brand are stronger than ever with a great array of footwear in a host of different colours and finishes. The three models to arrive are the Pampa Hi in a new Peru colour show above and below, followed by the Pampa Lite in Otan Green and in a ripstop fabric and finally the Pampa Blanc Hi in a
